Veteran
Description
Through the stories told by the veterans of the Anti-Japanese War in Nong'an, it shows the beliefs and red spirit of the older generation of revolutionaries. This is a group of veterans who participated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. In 2016, one of their comrades-in-arms died in a car accident on the way home. As comrades-in-arms, veterans spontaneously attended his memorial service. Seven years later, in this year of special significance, these loveliest people spontaneously organized a memorial in front of the Nong'an Martyrs Memorial Tower on Ching Ming Festival. These former veterans of the Anti-Japanese War showed us their dedicated revolutionary spirit and used their deeds to cast red genes. The solemn oath in front of the martyrs' monument is not only their oath, but also the red culture that our younger generation should inherit and carry forward. In the interview with the old hero, this tells us the cruelty of the battlefield for the octogenarian. Although he is an old man who has experienced many vicissitudes, he still can't hide his excitement. When talking about the war, the old man said, "why is he not peaceful". Unforgettable so far.
