Description
This work is a clay stop-motion animation short film, which aims to tell a magnificent history through vivid and warm micro-scenes.
In the first half of the work, we followed the footsteps of clay figures and returned to the era of war, experiencing unforgettable historical moments: we saw Red Army soldiers climbing snow-capped mountains in the bitter wind and snow, and tenaciously crossing the grass in the boundless swamp; We witnessed the thrilling battle of 22 warriors to seize Luding Bridge in the rain of bullets, and also witnessed the decisive charge launched by countless soldiers against the enemy on the battlefield. Afterwards, the camera was fixed on more heroic chapters: the generosity and tragedy of the five strong men of Langya Mountain, the bravery and fearlessness of Wang Wei, and the poignant sadness of the thirteen hairpins of Jinling, until the final surrender of Japan and the great victory celebrated by the whole country. Together, these scenes weave a national memory of sacrifice, suffering and unyielding.
Then, through a transition full of ingenuity, the film pulls back the perspective from the depths of history to the grand military parade on September 3, 2025-the 70th birthday of New China. At this point, the screen color becomes extremely bright and vivid. On Chang'an Street, the three armies lined up with iron armor. The camera shot past the uniform, sonorous pace of the foot team; show the country's heavy weapon-the Dongfeng series of missiles and other modern equipment team sailed through Tiananmen Square; and the air echelon roaring into the sky, drawing a gorgeous ribbon of heroic moments. This military parade demonstrated the majesty and magnificence of the Chinese army and the brilliant achievements of modernization in an all-round way. It was majestic and powerful, forming a strong and shocking contrast with the hard years in the first half.
In the end, in the background of the country's prosperity and military strength, the image of Comrade Mao Zedong reappeared. He stared at this heroic people's army and this prosperous and prosperous scene, as if he had completed a dialogue across time and space. The film reached an emotional climax here, profoundly revealing the core theme of "Today's prosperous China, as the revolutionary ancestors wished in the past", and completed the spiritual inheritance and lofty tribute from history to modern times.
