Game Scene Design and Production of “Forgotten Land”
Description
The background of the game is an abandoned factory, this game scene shows abandoned streets and full of unknown things. As the ninth art, the game has matured with years of development, and can restore or depict many worlds that we will not really see to a large extent. The doomsday wasteland style is one of them. This graduation design is to show the human civilization through the vicissitudes of life and lack of resources through the presentation of abandoned factories far away from the people's residence, a quiet street only traces of people's lives. The doomsday waste soil style is different from other styles, such as cyberpunk, which is pursuing the "beauty" of science and technology, while the doomsday waste soil style scene will have a great impact on people's aesthetics, it is a more primitive "beauty". Make architectural models in 3dsMax software, carve model details such as stones and bricks in the scene in Zbrush, make dead grass required for the scene in SpeedTree, bake model normals with the help of Marmoset Toolbag 3, draw material maps with Substance Painter/Designer, and draw terrain in advance with terrain editing system in Unreal Engine4, then import all models for layout, add lighting and fog effect debugging atmosphere, use the engine's animation system to make scene roaming animation. Add background music to the exported video with Adobe Premiere.
