Dialect is the mother of the local complex. Saying dialect is the most cordial greeting to a friend in another country and the best bridge to close the distance. To some extent, dialect is a social phenomenon, dialect can represent the regional cultural characteristics, is a unique national culture, contains strong national characteristics, has a rich cultural heritage. With the development of science and technology, the change of life style and the popularization of common, dialect communication and expression gradually fade out of the public's vision. Punctuation is a kind of artistic symbol, which is concise and clear, and has enough freedom and creativity to use. Punctuation marks are selected for redesign to explore a new method of integration with Danyang dialect fonts. In order to strengthen the application of punctuation marks, the system is standardized. Referring to the mandarin Chinese characters and pinyin system, and on the basis of following the appeal design principle, the initial consonant and vowel of Danyang dialect are designed to further solve the problem of easy reading and form a standardized and systematic font design system.
