This design will start with the application of 3D animation from the protection and promotion of cultural heritage, and the feasibility of applying 3D animation to the protection and dissemination of cultural heritage in practice, thus changing the narrow view of "animation is only animation" and establishing the understanding of contemporary animation as a communication medium and popular culture, as well as its significance and application value in cultural communication. The 3D animation design works of "Lingnan World", in terms of preserving the functional attributes of traditional culture, are no longer literary works of fictional stories, but "image reproduction" of objective historical facts, which vividly show the representative Lingnan architectures in the form of origami in the animation, such as the dragon house, the flower calyx building, the four corner building, the watchtower group, the arcade and so on, form a vivid and dynamic cultural picture scroll to stimulate people's cultural identity and national pride.
