Description
Shu embroidery is a traditional Chinese embroidery art with a long history. As an intangible cultural heritage, fewer and fewer people understand it. Our video takes Anjing Town, Pidu District, Sichuan Province, one of the birthplaces of Shu embroidery. The important process of embroidery production-drawing, selection and embroidery, is interspersed with the description of these steps by Embroidery Niang, so that people can understand this skill more clearly, at the end of the film, mother-in-law Xiuniang handed the embroidery tools to the younger generation, implying "passing on the fire from generation to generation", that is, to pass the baton to future generations so that this intangible cultural heritage technology will not be lost.
