This work takes the Siberian tiger, Yanbian yellow cattle and Changbai Mountain sable as the main elements, and uses the illustration form to endow the three animals with the traditional auspicious meaning of ward off evil spirits, harvest and wealth. The traditional incisions and dialects of the northeast region such as mountain god, sharp horn and big leaf are used to name the animals that the people of the northeast region see everyday in the form of illustrations. in the illustrations, people see images, but what they feel in their hearts is the language of unexpected images. In addition to the beauty of image and form, auspicious animals also have a kind of allegorical beauty, figurative beauty and linguistic beauty. Design and draw a series of decorative illustrations with northeast regional characteristics, in line with public aesthetics, affirm the value of connotation, and abandon the feudal consciousness.
