As one of the folk houses of Yunnan ethnic minorities, tile cat is a kind of traditional earthenware folk products with tiger as its original shape and integrating religious culture, architectural decoration and folk art. The tile cat is a unique town house "god beast" in Yunnan, which is widely distributed and used in all parts and states of Yunnan province. The tile cat looks like a tiger cat, and the most ferocious and representative part of the tiger and cat is selected. Its original intention is to eat "ghost" tiger. Folks usually place the tile cat in the middle of the ridge of the main house when building a new house, with its back to the courtyard, facing the distance, gazing at the sky, which is used to ward off evil spirits and enjoy happiness. the inspiration and prototype of this group of works come from "chenggong tile cat" and "dali tile cat". I extracted the modeling features of these two kinds of tile cats and simplified them to realize them by means of modeling, 3d printing, casting and so on.
