The Origin of Canal -- Yangzhou
Description
The works focus on the origin of the Grand Canal-the past and present life of the Yangzhou section of the canal. Starting from the Shaobo Sluice, the oldest navigation facility in the history of the canal, along the ancient and modern time axis, it reproduces the depictions in Chinese and foreign art works, as well as the protection and governance of the contemporary canal, and explores the profound heritage and prosperity of the Yangzhou section of the canal. Yangzhou, a famous canal city, "was born of luck and prospered by luck". This film uses the painting method of Chinese painting to restore Yangzhou's historic sites, adding the texture of rice paper to the content, making it have the aesthetic characteristics of traditional Chinese painting. Scene design and composition are based on traditional Chinese aesthetics, paying attention to white space and artistic conception. Animation software AE is used to simulate real lens movement in layers to create a real and illusory atmosphere, bring immersive experience to the audience; use 3D camera to construct the scene, simulate the lens movement of push, pull and pan, enrich the lens language of the film, and make it more expressive than the general two-dimensional animation. Another major artistic feature of this film is to make ancient paintings move. The characters in the Qing Dynasty work "The Canal Range Rover" in the film seem to have traveled through thousands of years to come to the audience, and their dynamic expressions and activation movements are lifelike.
