In view of the characteristics of coal mine roadway with soft and broken roof and hard old roof, a new type of mining roadway formation method was developed, that is, the mining technology without coal pillar along the top of the roadway. The main technologies are: (1) The principle of coal pillar-free mining technology along the empty roof conditions. From the perspective of mine pressure and rock formation control, the mechanical principles of roadway formation along the top of the air are studied, including the characteristics of roof movement, the principle of roadway wall mechanics, the principle of direct top and old top control. (2) The weak roof conditions along the empty top of the self-formed roadway without coal pillar mining technology adaptability discrimination method. This paper puts forward the method of judging the feasibility of self-forming roadway along the empty top condition, and establishes the formula of "release", "wall-forming" and "non-impact" of the top plate, based on which the feasibility criterion of coal pillar mining along the empty top is formed; (3) Surrounding rock control criteria To study and formulate the key criteria for the success of roadway formation along the empty top of the weak roof conditions; to study the support method with the goal of "given load" on the direct top and "given deformation" on the old top, so that the surrounding rock of the roadway can meet the needs of ventilated pedestrians and prevent the sudden impact caused by the fracture of the old top; study on the sealing equipment and method of goaf to prevent cross wind. (4) Implementation process Study along the top of the roadway without coal pillar mining in the first working face mining and the next working face mining complete process, roadway support, mining area blocking gangue, support equipment recovery process. (5) Deformation law of surrounding rock Through on-site measurement and analysis of the first working face mining and the next working face mining complete process, the roadway surrounding rock deformation law, to judge along the top of the roadway without coal pillar mining technology effect.
