Lunar New Year pictures are a representative project of Shanghai's intangible cultural heritage and a representative skill of folk painting art. The creation of Lunar New Year pictures began in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It fully combined the traditional Chinese fine brushwork watercolor and Western watercolor painting. With its delicate and realistic technique and bright and fresh colors, it spread rapidly in Shanghai at the beginning of the 20th century, opening up a new period in the history of Shanghai New Year pictures. Hang Zhiying is a representative figure of the Lunar New Year pictures. During the Anti-Japanese War, he created many patriotic paintings to express his support for the War of Resistance. Its unique painting style has influenced many month brand New Year picture painters, and vigorously promoted the development of month brand New Year pictures, making it popular all over the country and exported to overseas. This year marks the 100 anniversary of Hang Zhiying's "Zhiying Studio", and the monthly New Year pictures are also on display in Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum and other places. In order to commemorate Mr. Hang Zhiying and spread the culture of lunar new year pictures, we have designed a set of situational interactive experience system for the use scenes of intangible cultural heritage museums. This work takes Hang Zhiying's experience of studying with Master Zheng Mantuo as a youth as a carrier, and vividly displays the unique skills of the month-brand New Year pictures through situational interaction, so that the experiencer can deeply understand the skills of the month-brand New Year pictures and experience the whole process of painting the month-brand New Year pictures immersively, so that this art skill with unique Shanghai cultural characteristics and charm will shine more brilliance.
