Travel to Beijing and Hangzhou
Description
Introduction: this work is a 3d parkour game developed based on the Unity3d engine. the game takes the grand canal of beijing and hangzhou as the background. players can avoid a series of obstacles and reach the destination by controlling boats and characters. at the same time, they can feel the beauty of the canal and the history and culture behind it in the process. 1. checkpoint system The checkpoint is divided into ancient Hangzhou, modern Taierzhuang and modern Beijing. Hangzhou: In the scene, we used models of ancient buildings such as Liuhe Pagoda and Leifeng Pagoda, models of characters in ancient costumes and props with the flavor of ancient cities. On the obstacles, we set up branches, stones, crossbars and Hangzhou's unique Gongchen Bridge. The ships used ancient canoes. By showing the style of the ancient city of Hangzhou, the customs carry forward the traditional history and culture. Taierzhuang: In the scene, we used battlefield elements such as gunsmoke, bunkers and batteries. We set up train bridges, fighter planes, roadblocks, warships, etc. on the obstacles. The ships used combat assault boats. By showing the battle scenes of Taierzhuang during the Anti-Japanese War, this customs recalls the martyrs of the Anti-Japanese War and inherits the red gene. Beijing: In the scene, we used models of modern buildings, cars, highways and other landmarks such as the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square and Bird's Nest. On the obstacles, we set up movable aquatic plants, cable-stayed bridges, civil airliners and cruise ships. The ships used yachts. By showing the bustling modern urban atmosphere of Beijing, Benguan expresses the praise of modern prosperous and strong China. Setting the three checkpoints in three different periods of ancient, modern and modern times is not only to show the glorious history of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal for thousands of years, but also to reflect the progress of Chinese civilization in the tide of the times through the changes of the canal with the times. 2. Question Answering System The knowledge quiz system appears as the only resurrection mechanism for each level, I .e. after the first death, the player can get a chance to resurrect by correctly answering a random cultural common sense question related to the city of the level. The knowledge question and answer questions involve local history, architecture, humanities, food and other aspects. Through this resurrection reward mechanism, players are encouraged to spontaneously and actively understand the relevant knowledge of cities along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. 3. collection system Each checkpoint contains three collected items that reflect the characteristics of their respective cities. Players can selectively collect them during the process of entering the checkpoint. If they are successfully collected, they can view the detailed introduction of the collected items in the "collected items" option on the home page or in the settlement interface. The collection involves local architectural and historical stories, combining the popularization of knowledge along the canal with the fun of the game. Implementation of 4. other functions 1.
