Architectural Design of "Wizard of Oz Forest Dream" Kindergarten The scale of the project is 15 classes of kindergartens, with a construction area of 4200 square meters and a three-story building. Wood and milky white paint are mainly selected for material selection. Wood creates a warm atmosphere. A large amount of milky white paint is left white, which symbolizes the clean heart of innocent children like white paper and creates a broad imagination space for children. The kindergarten design has been fully investigated and collected data, which has deepened the understanding of the function and shape of educational buildings. Therefore, the general plan is made in combination with the base environment, and the location and orientation of the main and secondary entrances and the building body are determined. Due to the special needs of children for light, the two main straight stairwells are designed as glass triangular cones in the design concept, which not only makes the light sufficient, but also makes the children bathe in the sun, and appears transparent to eliminate the sense of closure. To the south of the main entrance in the west of the building is the sound body room, while to the north is the office area. Next to the office building is the transparent main staircase, which is lined with the main buildings of the kindergarten to the east. In the far east is the logistics service room, which is generally arranged and oriented in this way. The functional arrangement of the building follows the design principle of clear zoning and close connection and convenience. First, the large-scale functional area analysis is carried out and divided into office area, logistics service area, main teaching area and sound body room with independent performance. Then there is the arrangement and setting of various parts of the playing field longitudinally to the south. In the north of the main teaching area, a curved corridor is set up as a connection between the classrooms, so that there can be good windows in the south, and the corridor can be used as a buffer zone for cold wind in winter. It is also considered that the activity room has good lighting and visual orientation to the south of the large classroom. The overall shape of the building is light and bright, in line with the characteristics of educational architecture, through the processing of details, so that the personality of the building is obvious. The control of the height of each main building and the height of the stairwell makes the height of the building feel scattered, making the building facade have ups and downs and beautiful contour lines. The design of the entrance transparent hall makes it possible for parents to have a good buffer zone for picking up and transporting children, and has a good guiding effect to various building areas.
