At the beginning of the project, I did not rush to find some existing classical buildings to copy them, but referred to some books about wood structure buildings to learn ancient wooden mortise and tenon technology, and made them in 3D as much as I could. After reading some articles on garden design, I learned the importance of landscape, terrain and natural scenery of the garden, and made a simple natural landscape using unity, finally, the whole main model of the building was built. The color system of the model adopts the green brick and white walls of classical Suzhou gardens, mostly wooden buildings as the main body, revealing the elegant Jiangnan flavor. Some also draw on some of the characteristics of Japanese gardens: such as low bryophytes, ferns, evergreen trees and natural embellishment of stones. Not only that, I also combine the romantic feelings of nostalgia with the needs of modern people for life, compatible with luxury and elegance and fashionable modernity, reflecting the personalized aesthetic point of view and cultural taste of the post-industrial era. The project is a combination of neoclassicism, classical and modern. Its essence comes from classicism, but it is not antique, let alone retro, but the pursuit of likeness. Not only out of the pursuit of beauty and design, the original intention of the project design is to inherit and carry forward the traditional culture. The word garden, also known as garden, focuses on the construction of characters, with deep meaning, deep thinking, wonderful interest and inheritance.
