This work is based on the old railway station in Jinan as the material for the design and creation of ancient architecture restoration animation. Jinan Old Railway Station refers to "Jinpu Railway Jinan Station", which is a typical German station building designed by the famous German architect Hermann Fischer at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. It was once the largest railway station in Asia, boarded the architectural textbooks of Tsinghua University and Tongji, and was listed as the first stop in the Far East by the "Far East Travel" published by West Germany after the war. Due to historical reasons, the old Jinan railway station, which carries history and culture, was ruthlessly demolished in the 1990 s, which has become a permanent regret in people's hearts. In order to better reproduce its classic and unique style, our design team has carried out preliminary research, data collection and other work, using 3D virtual roaming animation technology, through modeling, rendering, post-production and creative expression, to make the ancient building restoration animation, which truly and vividly reproduces its unique architectural style and vicissitudes, thus awakening people's awareness of the rescue and protection of ancient buildings, it is of great practical significance to the dissemination of ancient architectural culture. This work mainly adopts three-dimensional modeling and makes full use of computer virtual reality technology to create a three-dimensional virtual space, fully showing the overall appearance, internal structure and environment of Jinan old railway station, so that viewers can appreciate the structure and structure of buildings from a free perspective. The emergence of architectural animation technology provides powerful technical support for the restoration of ancient buildings in China, using the three-dimensional animation technology in modern architectural animation, a virtual three-dimensional model of ancient buildings is built, which reduces the technical difficulty of the restoration of ancient buildings.
