The design scheme is located at the mouth of Chongming Island, Chongming District, Shanghai, where finless porpoises appear many times. The habitat of the finless porpoise has been destroyed due to excessive human activities. This design scheme is committed to creating a more suitable habitat environment for the finless porpoise, promoting the recovery of the finless porpoise population and realizing the long-term sustainable development of the finless porpoise protection by establishing an ecological corridor and using three major devices of water purification, noise reduction and monitoring. Through the comprehensive protection of finless porpoise and other biodiversity, we can achieve ecological balance and harmonious coexistence between man and nature, and promote the stability and sustainable development of the ecosystem.
