Starting from rural revitalization and other policies, following the competition concept of "designing resources to the countryside", and based on the gradual loss of vitality of traditional tourism/tourist areas, this design focuses on building comprehensive residential accommodation to meet the needs of people at present. The base is located in Gaojiatai Village, Shibanyan Town, Linzhou City, Henan Province, with the defects of old houses, lack of comprehensive residential accommodation and old business models of most residential accommodation, however, it has the advantages of large passenger flow, natural beauty, and a sketching base for students, so it can create a compound homestay with "living and tourists playing symbiosis" and look for a new renewal model. The creative ideas of this work can be roughly divided into the following sections: project positioning, location analysis, base analysis, context analysis, current situation analysis, crowd analysis, tourist activity analysis, streamline analysis, transformation strategy and technical drawing. First of all, from the perspective of project positioning, we can know the advantages and disadvantages of Gaojiatai village. Gaojiatai provides natural resources to meet the needs of market, transformation and space. As designers, we provide technology and ideas to them. Once the two are combined, we can find a new renewal mode and activate the traditional tourist area. Secondly, by analyzing its geographical location, we can understand the local surrounding traffic conditions and hard conditions such as green space and water network, and then go to the local area to investigate and find the local cultural characteristics and current characteristics. It is familiar that Gaojiatai Village is an ancient village. There are intangible cultural heritage such as "flower stick dance", and stone houses with local characteristics can be seen everywhere, but the current problem is that most houses are old and damaged. Finally, combined with the main flow of Gaojiatai is tourists and sketching students and local residents, this paper analyzes the time period, activity content and activity object type of tourists, so as to carry out the space, structure and facade transformation of traditional stone houses, and then integrate and enhance the space, environment and landscape.
