Danyang City, known as "Yunyang", has the reputation of the Pearl of the canal. However, there are some problems in the waterfront space of Danyang Canal, such as broken cultural memory, low quality of space and poor business environment. Through the investigation of the surrounding business environment and the needs of urban residents, the method of intervention and reconstruction is adopted to shape the environment, so that the space experience of the site has the time changes of "past", "present" and "future. It is hoped that while inheriting the canal culture, the venue can meet the cultural, natural and commercial needs of today's urban residents, imagine the future commercial image of the city, and make the left space of the Danyang section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal glow with new brilliance.
