The idea of this design comes from the twenty-four solar terms in ancient Chinese traditional culture, and based on the twenty-four solar terms culture, it has been applied in the design of the theme square landscape. The twenty-four solar terms is a supplementary calendar established in ancient China to guide farming. It is the accumulation of long-term experience and wisdom of the working people of the Chinese nation. The design is located in Hunnan District of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, which belongs to the temperate humid continental climate. Geographically, due to the blocking of mountains, Shenyang City presents the characteristics of long winter and summer and short spring and autumn. The establishment of the theme square here is a manifestation of the integration of history and culture and modern society, which helps to spread intangible cultural heritage. The establishment of commercial pavilions around the square and the surrounding sales can obtain higher economic benefits.
