Mine Remains -- Jiaozuo Coal Mine Museum
Description
The design is located in the West Dajing Scenic Area of Jiaozuo City, which is located in the southwest of Jiaozuo City and has a long history of coal mining and rich cultural background. The south and west face the near residential area, the east is Ruifeng Road, the north is close to Yuejin Road, and the roads between streets and lanes are relatively spacious. The local block has an advantageous geographical location, with an annual average temperature of 14 ℃, a mild climate, sufficient sunshine and abundant precipitation. The surrounding facilities of the local block are relatively complete, with a long history and a strong cultural atmosphere. The cultural and tourism streets attract a large number of tourists every year, which not only promotes the local industry, but also deepens the local cultural atmosphere. At the beginning of the design of the Jiaozuo Coal Mine Museum, we strive to make the museum a place full of retrospect and prospect. By reviewing the glory and changes of the coal mine history, and looking forward to the future direction of green development, visitors will not only understand the past, but also feel the positive transformation of the coal mining industry in terms of sustainability and environmental protection. In terms of design techniques, we mainly adopt a comparative and combined approach, emphasizing the preservation and display of industrial heritage, such as mine wellheads, mine cars, etc., while integrating modern innovation and green technology into buildings and exhibitions. Through contrast and combination, the organic relationship between historical inheritance and modern development is emphasized. The museum's green ecological concept runs through the entire design, through the design of green roofs, landscaping, renewable energy, etc., to create a building that harmoniously coexists with nature. This not only reflects the green consciousness of the museum, but also provides a sustainable environment for visitors. We are also committed to making the museum an educational and community-engaging place to deliver knowledge about coal mining history and environmental protection to students, communities and the public through lectures, seminars and workshops related to coal mining. This helps the museum become a center for the dissemination of knowledge. The museum creates an emotionally resonant space and visual experience in terms of aesthetic design. Consider the use of materials, light, color, etc. to create an engaging atmosphere that makes visitors willing to learn more about the history of coal mining and green development.
