Dongying is a prefecture-level city in Shandong Province. It is located in the delta zone of the estuary of the Yellow River. It faces the Bohai Sea in the east, the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Economic Zone in the north, and the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone in the south. It radiates the vast inland area to the west.
