My inspiration for this creation comes from all kinds of local flower cakes. I use flower cakes as inspiration to create through imagination. because we are coastal areas, I have added many sea elements and clouds, used the shape of fish, and added many traditional Chinese decorations. because this year is the year of the rabbit, I have also added many rabbit elements, as well as our Beijing opera and so on. Many plants such as welcome pine, bamboo and big trees have been added to show the unique culture of Jiaodong flower pastry through various elements, with flower pastry as the main element. Big Yangko Yangko is an intangible cultural heritage, which also carries the cultural heritage of Jiaodong area. In this work, I use the three characters in Yangko, the instruments used in Yangko and our traditional Chinese styles including Chinese knots, auspicious clouds and so on. Smoked Spanish mackerel Smoked Spanish mackerel is an intangible cultural heritage, which also carries the cultural heritage of Jiaodong area. This work uses a large number of marine life, including Spanish mackerel, etc., to show the diversity of marine life.
