q1: Does this year's work submission require videos? Do design works (such as posters and design drawings) need to provide demonstration videos and work description documents? A: Please strictly follow the requirements of the Competition Guide, priority submission of video files. Video can more intuitively show the review experts the creation process, core logic and presentation effect of the work, and help the review to have a more comprehensive understanding of the value of the work. Design works are also recommended to be supplemented with videos. For details, please refer to the material specifications of the corresponding categories in the guide. Q2: During the submission of the school competition works, can the contestants continue to submit or modify their works? A: For works that have not passed the examination before the deadline for submission of works, contestants can log in to the system to modify and resubmit them. If a work that has passed the examination needs to be modified, it can only be adjusted after contacting the school competition contact person to "refuse to return" the work. Once the deadline for submission of works is reached, all works will be locked for modification and cannot be operated any more. Be sure to pay attention to the time node. Q3: Where can I download the work commitment? A: The work commitment letter must be in after submission of work, log in to the competition system, in the details page of the corresponding work, the system will automatically display the download link, click to get it. A: The following materials (if any) need to be compressed into one file to upload: letter of commitment, screenshots of works, demonstration video, PPT; If there are other auxiliary documents (such as code documents, design source files, etc.), they need to be packaged together with the above materials. | 02 schedule Rules and Award Setting |
q5: What is the proportion of first, 2. and third prizes in the school competition? A: Each university is independently responsible for the organization and selection of the school competition. The establishment of awards and the proportion of awards have nothing to do with the competition organizing committee. The organizing committee only judges and sets awards for regional and national competitions, and issues official certificates to the winning teams. Note: Colleges and universities need to press 40% of the total number of entries, recommend excellent works to advance to the competition area, the specific recommendation rules can consult the school competition contact person. Q6: If you have the opportunity to enter the provincial and national competitions, what are the requirements for the form of the work? Do you need to prepare exhibition boards and other materials? A: No additional materials are required for the provincial competition stage. Participants only need to ensure that the materials recommended by the school competition are complete and meet the provincial competition evaluation standards. In the national competition stage (national on-site finals), on-site display materials such as exhibition boards shall be submitted. For specific specifications, submission time and requirements, please refer to the 2024 national on-site finals competition notice (if there is any subsequent update, it will be synchronized through the competition website). Q7: Can the works be optimized or modified before the provincial and national competitions? A: After the deadline for submission of works (including the deadline for school competitions and provincial competitions), all participants are unable to modify work; If the work is promoted to the national finals, the original work can be improved and optimized (such as adding details and optimizing the display effect) within the specified time according to the requirements of the competition notice of the national live finals, it is not allowed to modify the name of the work, let alone replace it with another work. Infraction will result in disqualification. Q8: Is it possible to directly sign up for the regional competition instead of taking part in the school competition? A: No. If the school has organized a school competition, all entries must be recommended by the school competition contact person system before they can be promoted to the competition area. Works that did not participate in the school competition or were not recommended by the school competition cannot directly enter the competition evaluation link. |
