Description
This work takes the Unreal Engine (Unreal Engine) as the core creative tool to carry out digital restoration and artistic re-creation of the Yuanmingyuan Pengdao Yaotai, one of the representative works of the Qing Dynasty royal gardens. Yaotai, which was originally located on the water surface, was innovatively placed in the scene setting of the air island in this project, and its spatial atmosphere was reconstructed in the way of virtual environment. Through the combination of realism and virtuality, viewers can not only feel the historical grandeur and architectural beauty of Pengdao Yaotai, but also experience the fantastic artistic conception floating between the sea of clouds.
The whole work has both artistic appreciation and immersive experience, which provides a new way of thinking for the digital revival of classical gardens, and provides the possibility for the protection, display and redesign of cultural heritage in the future.
