The animated short film "Sea of Sand" is a wool felt puppet stop-motion animation on the themes of home, growth and time. The author uses warm and soft wool felt to tell the story of a family of three mice living in the forest who were forced to leave their homes and migrate and climb trees in order to avoid the sand sea. The time passed like fine sand is figurative into the sand sea, expressing the love and nostalgia for the family in childhood memory. The theme is profound and infects the soul. The soft texture and rich colors of the wool felt create a dreamy and hazy atmosphere for the whole story, making the whole picture as rich as oil painting. The scene of the short film is exquisitely made and the style is unified. The characters are lovely in shape, smooth in movement and vivid in emotional expression. The picture is rich in layers, fine in texture, bold in lighting rendering and bright in color. The story plot is complete, the narration is smooth, the plot is clear, and the music fits the picture.
