With the development of science and technology, in view of this problem, VR technology can now be used to carry out virtual design of the school history museum. VR, which is full of immersion, is used as a propaganda medium and eye movement instrument is used as a carrier to realize a new somatosensory effect, break the form of the traditional school history museum and establish a new school history museum. And it can effectively solve the problems existing in the paper school history, realize the online archiving, online storage, query and management of school history, improve the utilization rate of school history, realize the principle of school history serving the public in a real sense, improve the awareness of teachers and students on the dissemination of school history, create a good visual communication image, and make the publicity of school history more vivid and more organized. In order to better explore the application of VR technology in the exhibition hall, this paper takes the history museum of Shenyang Ligong University as the research object. First of all, we need to visit and investigate the school history museum of Shenyang Ligong University, and organize the school history data, and then according to the school history museum venues, model establishment, and summarize the problems encountered in the design and the countermeasures taken.
