Application Design of VR English Teaching Based on Unity3D
Description
This work is aimed at the student groups who have just started to learn English. Based on the current popular virtual reality technology, this work designs the English education application for primary school students according to the original teaching content of the textbook. The English teaching content is visualized, visualized and visualized through virtual cartoon scenes, so that children can feel the fun of learning in experience and play. At the same time, students can also share the information they have obtained with other small partners to help students learn the textbook contents, it is equipped with the corresponding after-school review mode to consolidate the learning content of students in class, such as spelling words, corresponding pictures and texts, etc., to achieve the goal of improving the quality of English education. The innovation at the application level is to combine virtual reality technology with creative English teaching, to build a complete, cartoon-like and repeatable virtual reality environment based on the story design prototype of Unit 1-Birthday textbook "Fujian Education Edition Primary School English Third Grade Book" and the complete story theme framework of cartoon characters hosting birthday parties. The cartoon image is displayed in three dimensions in front of the students, bring children a series of visual experience in virtual environment; use the handle to sense the position of the hand, and press the key to control the operation of picking up and releasing letters, which is conducive to students' perception and experience of the story plot, thus using technology and creativity to achieve the goal of improving the quality of English teaching. At the level of art technology, this work creatively introduces the V-Ray rendering commonly used in interior design into the baking mapping work, and combines the Linear (linear) mode of the Unity3D engine to restore the lifelike scene in the V-Ray without increasing the performance overhead, thus greatly improving the immersion of the virtual reality visual experience.
