The interactive virtual digital exhibition hall of Gansu painted pottery is based on three-dimensional digital and virtual interactive technology, mainly using 3DS Max modeling tools and Unity engine. The system takes cultural type and geography as the main line, and displays the typical painted pottery in different cultural periods of the Yellow River Basin in China from the perspectives of picture-text introduction and three-dimensional display. The three-dimensional display describes the physical characteristics, artistic characteristics and cultural characteristics of the painted pottery in two ways: whole and local. The system has beautiful interface, strong interaction and rich resources. Users can learn about the history and culture of Gansu painted pottery through the digital museum platform, participate in "virtual pottery" and experience the process and fun of pottery making. They can also roam in the digital exhibition hall, interact with painted pottery exhibits, feel the charm of Gansu painted pottery and appreciate the beauty of Gansu painted pottery.
