Dunhuang Musical Instruments
Description
Our works make full use of modern 3D modeling and rendering technology, mainly through 3ds Max to produce models, showing the traditional instruments in Dunhuang culture. After the modeling is completed, we use Substance Painter to endow the model with material maps to ensure that each instrument can show its unique texture and color, and truly restore the beauty and delicacy of Dunhuang art. The model is then exported as an FBX file and brought into the O2Builder platform. Here, we conduct lighting adjustment, material optimization, collision detection and interaction design of the instrument, and strive to provide a vivid and interactive virtual experience for the audience. In the end, we created a virtual online exhibition hall to recreate the essence of Dunhuang musical instruments, so that the audience can enjoy it online, and there are exquisite murals and Dunhuang culture in the exhibition hall. The information introduction of Dunhuang musical instruments helps the audience understand the history and culture of these musical instruments. In this pavilion, the audience can not only observe each musical instrument in 360 degrees, but also further explore the charm of Dunhuang culture through interactive experience.
