Through the investigation and analysis of this team, it is clearly shown that the problem of "empty nest elderly" is a social problem that has a great impact and repercussions. Most people think that the "empty nest elderly" may be lonely, lack of care in life, lack of material life, sick and unattended, so there is a need for a plan to further solve this social problem. In order to help solve this social problem, the team successfully produced a multi-functional elderly companion intelligent robot specially designed for the elderly living alone. From the user experience questionnaire, it was found that 48.9%, 51.1%, 69.3%, 65.9%, 55.7% and 68.2% of the respondents believed that the robot should have the following corresponding functions: 1. Blood glucose testing function (blood glucose testing for the elderly has the characteristics of convenience, finger-free, and fast testing speed. The proportion of elderly people suffering from diabetes in my country is very large, and complications caused by diabetes are very dangerous for the elderly.); 2. Fire detection function (once an object with high temperature duration is detected, an alarm will be issued immediately to remind the elderly and contact relatives to give an alarm); 3. Abnormal behavior detection function (equipped with human body posture detection function made by openmv system, once the elderly's body posture is found to be abnormal, it will automatically alarm the elderly's relatives through mobile phone APP); 4. Video monitoring function (camera is used to monitor and observe the daily life of the elderly, and connected to the mobile phone of the elderly children through APP); 5. Identify the function of picking up small items (pick up some dangerous goods, such as knives and forks, etc., to avoid danger) 6. Voice Q & A function (chat with the elderly to solve their lonely problems). In the design process, the group according to the different functions of the robot is analyzed and the core principle decomposition, and gives the circuit diagram of each module of the robot, design ideas and renderings. After the design was completed, the team also determined the marketing strategy of the robot from four aspects: brand, packaging, pricing and promotion. Through market research, the team's multi-functional elderly companion intelligent robot can improve the happiness index of the elderly and provide some effective help to solve the current "empty nest elderly" problem. In addition, the robot of this product has low price and high personality ratio, which has broad market prospects. Cost accounting: the product sets six functions in one, so the product is extremely cost-effective. Helping the elderly robot adopts upper and lower mainboards, Stm32 single-chip microcomputer master control and mechanical hardware, and the price is controlled within 200. Compared with most products on the market, it has high efficiency, low power consumption, energy saving and environmental protection. This feature can not only save costs but also conform to the environmental protection concept of the times. The mechanical hardware includes a mechanical arm bracket, a mechanical arm base, a steering gear bracket, a mechanical arm clamping, a camera, a deceleration motor, a steering gear, and a leg bracket. After the market research of our group, the price of the leg bracket on the market is mostly 50-60 yuan, and the robot is in the upstream stage of development. Through the optimization design of the product and the use of aluminum alloy leg bracket, the cost is controlled within 20 yuan, which reduces the cost and has better market benefits. The structure of the mechanical arm is more systematic, and the parts are composed of low-cost brackets, which control the price at about 50 yuan. The product is divided into six parts according to the function, specifically for the video surveillance video module, pick up items module, voice module, blood sugar function module, temperature detection function module and fall detection function module, the function of each part of the integration. The use of aluminum alloy plate for each part of the function of the space, and constantly optimize the product function and structure, the product into the most beautiful appearance, the smallest volume, the lowest cost, the highest price of the product.
